  19. On a GVP 4008:  mostly works ok.  Generates occasional "Unexpected
  20. Status" error requester.  So far, it seems that using "gvpscsictrl 5
  21. DCOFF" (for Zip drive on ID 5) fixes this.  (gets 650 kB/s on my
  22. 4000/040 -- some people have gotten higher, though)

  24. On a 3000's internal SCSI: also works perfectly (gets 1 MB/s)

  26. On all: make sure the mountlist (or RDB) you use has 196608 sectors in
  27. it (the one automatically generated by HDToolBox doesn't!) - the exact
  28. geometry doesn't matter, but you should use all 196608 sectors, unless
  29. you like wasting perfectly good space on every Zip disk :)

  31. Actually, I've noticed that HDToolBox almost never uses all the
  32. sectors on any hard drive :(
